Hilary is an Appalachian artist based in West Virginia. She draws from her science background in creating contemporary paintings of rural landscapes and wildlife of all kinds. She transitioned from a DNA lab management career to full time artist in the fall of 2025. Her studio is on the bank of the Greenbrier River just before it joins the New River in a 100-year-old building that has served many purposes over the years including an antique store.
